ALWAYS-AND-CONTINOUSLY with Anna Macrae - Shift Gallery Seattle, WA

May 7th – May 30th
7th May 5 - 7pm - Opening during the Seattle First Thursday
30th May, 2-4pm -  Artist talk

Anna Macrae’s and Flora Ramirez-Bustamante’s work plays with ambiguities that reference interiority, accumulation, history, and humor. Whether through painting, vessels, or sculptural forms, each piece in this exhibition contributes to a broader, fragmented narrative—sometimes chaotic, always eclectic —that shapes the personal imaginary of these two European artists. Their work invites us into a lyrical and symbolic conversation with the domestic and the memories that are embedded within the surface.
